PLUGIT, the leading technology provider to the global Forex industry, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Lea Wang, who has been recruited by the Cyprus-based company as executive vice president.
Wang joins PLUGIT from Azure Intelligence Services, a consultancy company for financial trading industry where she has served as managing director for the past twelve months. Prior to that she spent about four years at FX bridge aggregation solutions provider PrimeXM as head of global account management, in addition to business development management for Asia.
Working mainly out of the company’s Cypriot and Chinese offices, Wang helmed a team that doubled client sales in only one year, while creating and training new teams in three additional territories.
At PLUGIT, Wang will focus initially on optimizing internal structures, setting out a strategic roadmap and establishing company goals. She will then supervise the execution of her vision, said to include a strong focus on the construction and maintenance of robust FX trading supporting ecosystems, using cutting-edge hosting to enhance ultra-low latency connectivity and stability.

Recognized by industry thought leaders as experts on the nexus between trading operations and technology, PLUGIT’s international client portfolio includes dozens of top brokerage firms. Faour attributes this to the company’s commitment to supplying uniquely innovative and intuitive solutions, tailored to the precise operational needs of each partner.
Commenting on her new role, Wang said: “I’m delighted to be joining PLUGIT, since the company shares both my vision and values in terms of pushing the technological envelope for clients, safeguarding their core interests and taking a proactive approach to enhancing internal practices and employee satisfaction.”
“I’m especially looking forward to enhancing the effectiveness of the team as we further advance the capabilities of YOONIT to create a new gold standard in intelligent client service,” she added.
