PLUGIT: Triumphs and Innovations in 2023

As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the year’s highlights for PLUGIT. The company has consistently been at the forefront of the fintech industry for over a decade with a portfolio of proven brokerage products.

Fastest Growing Technology Provider MEA

The year kicked off in spectacular fashion with PLUGIT taking home the Ultimate Fintech award for Fastest Growing Technology Provider MEA at the Dubai iFX Expo in January.

User voting is the deciding factor in the UF award process, and industry recognition is a big feather in our cap. As our founder, Jalal Faour, said, “We want to thank all our partners and friends who voted for us for this outstanding award. Your continued support is always appreciated, and we are truly humbled by the confidence and trust you place in the PLUGIT brand and family of solutions.”

YOONIT 3.0 Release

While our clients have universally well received our flagship product, the modular YOONIT suite, we decided to upgrade the entire collection of modules and even add a completely new product into the mix.

Brokers operate in a constantly changing landscape, and the only way to stay competitive is to stay up to date with trends, regulatory changes, and, of course, trader wishlists.

We’ve always prided ourselves on the quality of our customer service, and one of the things we do exceptionally well is to take client suggestions onboard. Client feedback is always examined in detail, and we’re quick to act when we see trends emerging.

Feedback for YOONIT 2.0 has always been excellent. Still, we did notice some trends developing on feature requests and industry developments, so our developers got to work, and several millions of lines of code and infinity cups of coffee later, YOONIT 3.0 was ready for release!

The official launch event took place at the Amathus Hotel in Limassol. A series of panel discussions and an official release presentation were rounded off by a selection of finger foods and cocktails for a truly memorable evening. YOONIT 3.0 was a hit!

Best All-In-One Brokerage Solution

September saw the iFX Expo return to Limassol, and once again, PLUGIT was in the running for one of the primary Ultimate Fintech awards. YOONIT clinched the top spot in the Best Overall category in 2022, and all fingers were crossed for the double in 2023.

Once again, YOONIT didn’t disappoint, and the expo closing party rounded off with our General Manager Maria Pittashi accepting the Best All-In-One Brokerage Solution award for the second year running. Look out, 2024; we’re going for the hat trick!

Integrations, integrations, and more integrations!

One of the standout features of all PLUGIT products is connectivity. The Fintech ecosystem is vast and includes any number of services brokers might want to connect to.

While we provide a complete API for third-party connectivity, we’re constantly integrating new services natively into our products, with an ever-expanding list of PSPs, KYC portals, and VoIP providers, to name just a few.

2023 saw a key new integration between our YOONIT suite and full-cycle verification platform, Sumsub. Ever stricter KYC and compliance regulations call for more and more solutions for brokers. Sumsub’s experience and proven user verification technology, anti-fraud, and AML compliance bring significant advantages to all brokers on PLUGIT systems.

Looking Back, Moving Forward

PLUGIT has come a long way since its birth in 2012. From humble beginnings, the company now counts over one hundred major global brokers as clients.

Our product line has expanded from a single module to our YOONIT suite of six distinct broker solutions with the release of YOONIT 3.0

The team has grown to over fifty people, a new dedicated customer success department, and a customer support team second to none.

That’s an impressive track record, but we’ve never been one to pat ourselves on the back. Innovation is what we do, and we have big plans moving forward.

2023 was an excellent year for us; we’ve set a high bar for ourselves. We have some more aces up our sleeves, so 2024 promises to be even better!
